Excavation of Inpatient Building site proves hot topic for students.

King's High School Year 10 students visited the New Dunedin Hospital project today, eager to learn more about the construction and excavation works on the new hospital's Inpatient Building site for their own geography project.

Bridget Dickson, Te Whatu Ora Southern's Programme Director and Andrew Holmes, Te Whatu Ora Outpatient Director who is leading construction of the Outpatient Building gave an overview of plans to students who then visited the Inpatient Building site together with Workforce Central Dunedin to learn more.

Members of the public in and around the Octagon were also interviewed by students with a questionnaire about the new hospital they had devised. We look forward to sharing the results with you here on this page when students have completed their assignment!
